IFTER EQU is an information system for visualization, integration and security systems management and also for building automation and their control from monitoring centres. Integrated support of access control systems, camera systems, alarm systems, fire alarm systems or building automation enables the setting of reactions of one system to the events of another, e.g. displaying of video from the camera in the room with an alarm.
Client-Server Database Design
IFTER EQU is built on the client-server design. Client workstations are connected to the central database that stores processed data. Flexible client-server design thus allows system management from anywhere in the LAN / WAN.

Friendly Graphical Interface of the System
The user is given the freedom of creating their own system look and feel. They can define the graphic appearance and functionality in great detail with respect to their needs so that working in the system is comfortable to the user. If all the information does not fit in one monitor the user can visualize the status of the entire building in up to four monitors from a single client workstation (licence). If the user prefers mounting the monitor to a wall they can choose a mode that does not require a keyboard or a mouse and configuration is then remotely controlled from another workstation.
Support in Solving Emergencies
One of the key functions of the system is leading the user from a general to a more detailed plan. This feature is often used in large buildings where displaying the plan straight with the detector in alarm state could make the localisation of the part of an object difficult. It would also complicate the navigation of the person or persons safegaurding the site of the emergency. Moreover, if an alarm occurs at different locations simultaneously, this function helps speeding up decision-making and priorities setting.
When an alarm occurs the operating system automatically displays the operating procedure with tasks for resolution of the alarm and elimination of danger. The procedure may differ for each detector and the time of day. In order to not complicate the action of counteracting the emergency, mouse-clicking outside the task list causes it to be hidden.
Comment to the Alarm
After finishing the action of counteracting the emergency, the operator can provide notes and comments in regards to the solution. All the events related to the danger, including the comments, are stored in a database for subsequent analysis of effectiveness of security service's work.
IFTER EQU enables control and supervision of systems for building automation using standard communication protocols MODBUS, M-BUS, BACKNET, SNMP, OPC and also supports devices from: BOSCH, COMPAS, HONEYWELL, POLON ALFA, UTC Fire & Security, SCHRACK SECONET, TYCO and SIEMENS. A combination of these features significantly increases the effectiveness of the security system.
