HTTP Commands for Camera Control
Switches and IPLOG units support control of up to 8, 16 or 32 cameras using HTTP commands. They use HTTP GET and PUT methods and they are able to send a command length of 128B. The advantage of this hardware solution is high reaction speed in ms in comparison with hundreds of ms when controlling the cameras from servers. However, these two camera control options are not exclusive and can be used simultaneously.
A camera turns automatically to a door in case of door contact opening, PIR sensor motion detection etc.
In case of a camera or a router stealth, another camera turns automatically to a preset or runs a pattern in order to capture the intruder.
Switch/IPLOG automatically switches on the camera DAY/NIGHT mode based on an external light sensor.
Thermal camera relay output detects motion. Switch/IPLOG Event management automatically turns
a camera to the field of view of the thermal camera.
