During the reconstruction of the Office 142 building, where the Slovak branch of ADI Global Distribution is located, there was a demand for the creation of a unified network architecture for connecting cameras, access, security systems, IP video gateways, and HVAC systems. The infrastructure design should allow for later expansion to include the technology of adjacent car parks in the exterior and technology of Hotel Color.
The final LAN-RING solution integrates Galaxy Dimension, ACS Hub Pro, Axis IP cameras, Wisenet, Hikvision, VMS Milestone, 2N IP Verso VRS, Triton Parking System, Hawk PLC and Toshiba Air Conditioning in Office 142 "A" and " B “, Hotel Color and parking lots. Unified monitoring and control are provided by BMS SBI.
In the LAN-RING network, 6 nodes are connected to two server rooms of Office 142 building, server room of Hotel Color and three adjacent parking lots.
Using LAN-RING METEL switches and IPLOG-DELTA modules helped to unify the elements of IT and HVAC infrastructure in interior and exterior environments, providing redundancy, increasing reliability, implementation of a unified monitoring and controlling system for multiple security systems of the objects and their systems and building equipment. The experience gained in this and other similar projects has helped us significantly in developing the IPLOG-GAMA PLC with a number of new interfaces:
